The following terms and conditions are binding and you should read them carefully; particularly the provisions dealing with prices, payments, delivery terms, liability and right of withdrawal.
These terms and conditions are supplemented by the applicable statutory rules regarding contracts for the supply of goods to consumers.

The contract of sale and delivery is entered into between you and VELUX.
The placing of an order and the entering into of the contract by you is conditional on you being over 18 years of age.
We only accept orders and deliver goods to an address designated by you within the United Kingdom.
It is a condition for our attending to your order that you, when placing your order, accept the following:

What is the price of the goods?
The purchase price is the price in force according to this online shop at the time of the placing of your order. The price of an ordered article, charges if any, and the total of your purchase will always appear from your order and the order confirmation.
How do I pay?
Payment may be made with credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD or MAESTRO) or bank transfers. For credit card payments, you will be asked to submit the name on your card, your card number, expiry date and if applicable card issue number and three-digit security number. This information is transmitted via high-level encryption directly to the bank to verify that your credit card is valid. Once your card is approved, we will send you an order confirmation via email. Your credit card will be charged immediately, in order for us to initiate the production of your custom made rooflight. For bank transfers, we will send you an order confirmation and initiate the production of your customised Vario by VELUX rooflight ones the payment is visible in our account.
We deliver directly to the address that you have specified in your order confirmation. It is required that you are home at delivery, as a signature is required upon delivery of your goods. The signature is accepted by us as valid proof of delivery in the right condition. Please note the order will be palletised and delivered on the ground.

Where do we deliver?
We only deliver to Mainland England and Wales, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland addresses for orders through this site. If you would like your products shipped to a different country, please contact our daylight expert team on +44 (0) 1592 778 246 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Special terms and conditions may apply.

Status of your order
We will send an email order confirmation and keep you updated during the ordering and delivery process. To enable us to offer the best service we can, we will give you a courtesy call within 24 hours, after your order placement. This call is to discuss your specific order details, your delivery requirements, your payment options etc. Please note that we will pass your contact details on to our carrier. This will allow them the option to contact you regarding your delivery, this can be either via SMS and Email if selected. Should you have any problems, we ask you to contact us with your order details. VELUX will not pass on these details to any other third parties
As Vario by VELUX rooflights are made to order products the lead time from order confirmation and payment to delivery is estimated to be 7 weeks. Warranty & VELUX Product Guarantee
Your statutory rights
As a consumer, you have legal rights under applicable mandatory rules regarding the sale of goods to consumers should the good(s) supplied by us turn out to be faulty or misdescribed. A good is considered faulty if it does not comply with the sales contract with respect to its quantity, quality and characteristics or if the good is not suitable for the purpose, for which it is acquired.
We have taken every possible technical precaution to render the colours of our goods as realistically as possible. However, we must make reservations as to possible deviations between the colours rendered in this online shop and the actual colours of our goods.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit your mandatory statutory rights.
We do not in any way exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
VELUX Product Guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights, VELUX grants you 10 years guarantee on Vario by VELUX rooflights and insulating glazing units and 3 years on Vario by VELUX products for electrical operation, including pre-installed motors and electrical components for Vario by VELUX rooflights. The terms of the guarantee does not in any way affect your statutory rights. The guarantee period commences when the new product is delivered to the end-user. Applicable law and venue
Contracts entered into by this online shop are governed by the laws of Scotland and Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from agreements entered into via this online shop.
Vario by VELUX rooflights are made to order solutions and produced for individual orders, and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned once a purchase order, including payment, has been received by VELUX Company Ltd.
Right of withdrawal/cancellation
You can withdraw or cancel your order, up until your order has been finally confirmed and payment has been made. All Vario by VELUX rooflights are made to order and raw materials are purchased specifically to your order. Hence, it is not possible to withdraw or cancel an order after the order has been confirmed, payment has been received and production or your customised rooflight has been initiated.
