Do you offer delivery for bespoke rooflights? If yes, at what price?

We deliver directly to the address that you have specified in your order confirmation. It is required that you are home at delivery, as a signature is required upon delivery of your goods. The signature is accepted by us as valid proof of delivery in the right condition. Please note the order will be palletised and delivered on the ground.

Vario operates with two delivery fees depending on the region and the product and order sizes:

Mainland England and Wales:
1. Standard delivery fee of £100 (excl. VAT)
2. Large truck delivery fee of £250 (excl. VAT) 

Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland:
1. Standard delivery fee of £100 or €100 (excl. VAT)
2. Large truck delivery fee of £250 or €250 (excl. VAT) 

UK Islands:

Do you offer on-roof delivery as a service? If yes, at what price?

Yes, we offer on-roof delivery as an add-on service for orders to UK mainland. The on-roof delivery is a service we offer to you so that you can have your product where you need it, when you need it. We will organize the craning delivery to get the products securely up on the new built roof, next to the opening in the roof. This service will ease the handling process of the product, and eliminate the complexity of getting the product from the ground on to the roof. 

This service first requires a Site Visit before we can offer a quotation.  

Where do you offer delivery?

How long is the delivery time for my bespoke rooflights?

As Vario rooflights are made to order products the lead time from order confirmation and payment to delivery is estimated to be 10 weeks. You are always welcome to contact our daylight expert team on +44 (0) 1592 778 246 or email vario@velux.co.uk to discuss your order, during our opening hours Monday-Friday between 8:00-13:30 and 14:00-17:00

Can I return my rooflight?

Vario by VELUX rooflights are made to order solutions and produced for individual orders, and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned once a purchase order, including payment, has been received by VELUX Company Ltd.

Right of withdrawal / cancellation

You can withdraw or cancel your order, up until your order has been finally confirmed and payment has been made. All Vario rooflights are made to order and raw materials are purchased specifically to your order. Hence, it is not possible to withdraw or cancel an order after the order has been confirmed, payment has been received and production or your customised rooflight has been initiated. Vario by VELUX offers a range of services, to make it less of a hassle for you to include a large bespoke rooflight in your building project.   

Installation including on roof delivery

If you would like to ensure that your new bespoke Vario by VELUX rooflight is installed in a professional manner, why not let us do it for you? 

We offer installation by Vario by VELUX Installers, who will ensure that the installation is made in accordance to our installation principles and fulfils the 10-year guarantee requirements, giving you peace of mind. Installation only available in select areas of the U.K. This service also requires a Site Visit before a quotation is prepared.
